Two-Car Crash Overturns Vehicle on Alumni Dr in Murfreesboro, TN

Murfreesboro, TN (August 3, 2026) – One person was trapped early Monday morning, August 3, after a two-vehicle collision left a car overturned near North Rutherford Boulevard and Alumni Drive.

The wreck was reported around 5:50 a.m. The Rutherford County Fire and emergency units found one vehicle resting on its roof with moderate damage.

The trapped person was conscious and alert throughout the response and was later freed from the vehicle. A second vehicle was still being checked at the time of the report.
